The Cisco 8800 Key Expansion Module with Multiplatform firmware extends the capabilities of Cisco IP Phone 8851, 8861, and 8865 Multiplatform (3PCC, MPP) models with additional buttons and a color LCD display. It provides 2 pages of 18 additional buttons (36 total), each with red/green illuminated indicators for line status.

- Up to 2 Cisco 8800 Key Expansion Modules can be connected to the Cisco 8851 IP phone
- Up to 3 Cisco 8800 Key Expansion Modules can be connected to the Cisco 8861 and 8865 IP phone

- 8851 + (1) KEM - 802.3af PoE or 802.3at PoE+ (requires Cisco PoE switch with CDP turned on), or Cisco Power Cube 4

- 8861 + (1) KEM - 802.3at PoE+ or Cisco Power Cube 4
- 8861 + (2) KEM - 802.3at PoE+ or Cisco Power Cube 4
